What you get

The best of what we built

Every feature below is live in the beta. Pick the surface you'll use most.

Personalised plan

Your plan, built for you

Answer a few questions and get a week of sessions with your calorie and protein targets, training and nutrition in one plan.

  • Fits your equipment, from bodyweight to a full gym
  • Cardio only plans work too
  • There's a custom builder if you'd rather set it up yourself

A mobile onboarding review turns into a generated Week 1 plan with calorie and protein targets.

Nutrition logging

Just type it. Logged.

Describe your meal in plain words and it comes back itemised with calories and macros in about a second.

  • Handles messy, real-world meals
  • Dictate it by voice on mobile
  • Edit any line before you save

Typing a meal description produces an itemised calorie and macro breakdown that is saved with one tap.

Photo logging

Photo logging that doesn't lie to you

Every item comes back with a confidence level, and any oil or butter it assumed you used gets flagged for you to keep or cut. Adjust the grams or names before it counts.

  • Flags the oil, butter, or dressing it assumed
  • Fix or remove any item in a tap
  • Shows a confidence level on every item

A meal photo is scanned into itemised foods with a confidence level; an assumed item is removed and a portion is re-weighed, updating calories live.

Adaptive coaching

A plan that adapts to you

When you're losing steadily it tunes your calories to hold the pace, and when you miss sessions it offers to compress the week. You always get Apply or Hold.

  • Sets your calories from your real weight trend, week by week
  • Deload and compress offers when you need recovery
  • Nothing changes without your say-so

A steady downward weight trend prompts a coach card offering a small calorie cut to lose a little faster, then an offer to compress a week of missed sessions, each with Apply or Hold.

Workout tracking

Every set. Every PR.

Log a set and the rest timer starts. Hit a record and it celebrates, then hands you an extra minute to rest.

  • Last session's numbers beside every set
  • Plate calculator on any barbell lift
  • A PR board across your whole history

During a workout, sets are logged with a rest timer; a personal record triggers a celebration and adds a minute of rest.

Progress charts

The trend beneath the daily swings

Daily weigh-ins bounce around, and the trend line smooths them into a clear direction. Switch any chart between line, bar, area, or dots and watch consistency stack up.

  • Weight trend versus raw points
  • Weekly volume, cardio, hydration, macros
  • Your chart types are remembered

Raw weigh-in points resolve into a trend line; a chart-type switch turns a line into bars, and a weekly consistency row fills in.

Body composition

Body-fat estimate from photos

Four quick photos give a body-fat estimate with a confidence level, tracked over time next to your weight.

  • Photos stay private
  • Shown with an honest confidence level
  • Plotted with weight so recomposition is visible

Four photo slots are scanned into a body-fat estimate with a confidence level, then plotted as a downward trend over six weeks.

Estimate only. Not medical advice.

Stay consistent

Rank up

You earn points for every log and streaks for showing up, and the ranks actually mean something. Consistency is the whole game, so we made it one.

  • Streaks for training and nutrition
  • A PR board and weekly recap
  • Ranks from Rusted Steel to Living Machine

A rank progress bar fills and the rank badge upgrades to the next tier.

Backed by real research

Real rules, applied to your real numbers

Every recommendation is a documented rule the engine runs on what you actually logged.

Progressive overload, computed

Bench Press: add 2.5 kg next week (62.5 kg → 65 kg, restart at 8 reps). Straight from your logged sets and RIR.

Deloads when the data says so

Log three high-fatigue sessions in a row and you get a deload week at 60% intensity — same sets and reps, just lighter — scheduled straight from your logged fatigue.

Protein targets with a reason

Target 1.61–2.2 g/kg protein, the tier where the research says you're maximising gains.

What early testers are seeing

A few of the people training and tracking with MacerFitness before public launch.

“Before building MacerFitness, I was stitching together AI, MyFitnessPal, and Strong just to plan and track my own training. That mix took me from 25% to 14% body fat and real muscle gained over about a year and a half — I wanted the one tool that did it all.”

— Founder, MacerFitness

I've lost more than 50kg in two years, and I'm training toward stepping on a bodybuilding stage next.

Timmy P., Early tester

I went from 108kg at 40-45% body fat to 65kg at 18-20% — 43kg down over two years.

Kai S., Early tester

Four years in, I've put on about 8kg of muscle — slow, steady, and it's stuck.

FAQ

Answers to common questions

Reach out any time and we'll help.

Is the mobile app out?

It's in private beta on iOS and Android by invite, and the web app is included. There's no public app-store listing yet.

Is it invite-only?

For now, yes. Join the beta list and we'll send invites out in batches.

How accurate is photo logging?

It's a quick estimate built for honesty. Every item shows how confident it is, and you can adjust grams or names before anything saves.

What if I don't have a gym?

No problem. Enter whatever equipment you have, or just bodyweight, and plans are built around it. Cardio only plans work too.

Can I change goals later?

Yes. Switch between fat loss, muscle, and recomposition and the plan recalibrates your progression and calorie targets.

Does it cost anything?

You start with a free trial during the private beta, then continue on discounted pricing for beta members. The exact price and details go out with your invite.
